Exhibits

Today, the museum features a permanent exhibition, a documentation center with a large screen to watch films related to our history, as well as several unique artifacts that highlight the rich cultural and natural heritage of the region.

One of the museum's centerpiece exhibits is the Atlantic Salmon Room. Here, visitors can learn more about the life cycle of the Atlantic salmon, its habitat, and the conservation efforts underway around the world to help preserve this iconic species.

Another room is dedicated to the Mi’gmaq community, presenting information on traditional native plants and their uses, as well as beautiful crafts and baskets created in the nearby Gesgapegiag community.

The museum also includes a gift shop offering a variety of souvenirs and specialty items, including clothing featuring the Cascapedia River emblem.
